Update OS X version 10.5.6 is available for users Mac OS X Leopard. This version is the sixth update since Leopard was first released in October 2007 and as usual this update also comes with performance improvements, bugs and security fixing.

Apple has announced a list of changes brought to this OS X 10.5.6 update such as:
- Increased stability in the airport connection, address list synchronization with iPhone and other devices
- Repairs graphics distortion problems for users who use ATI graphics card.
- Automatically synchronize list of contacts, calendars and bookmarks within a few minutes after the change on the computer, or other devices from MobileMe.
- Improved performance of Apple File Service, especially for home directory hosted on AFP server
- Repairs the Time Machine problem in finding the location of backup file.
- Increased reliability Time Machine with Time Capsule
- Increased stability and performance of AT & T 3G card.
- Improvement in printing performance of Canon printers
- Support for Blu-ray video formats
- Add the Trackpad System Preference panel for Mac Laptop.
